According to Look magazine, Portuguese neighbors are annoyed by their compatriot. The problem: The villa has been under construction for around three years, but the luxury property is still not finished. The “Look” report states that the work is expected to take at least another year. A problem especially for the neighbors.

Residents are upset, the magazine quotes them as saying: “The house is so big it looks like a hospital. My street has been closed for months, my yard full of dust. And all this just so that Pharaoh Ronaldo can build his pyramid…”

Everything revolves around this villa: According to various media reports, Ronaldo acquired the most expensive property in Portugal at the end of 2020. The cost of the purchase, renovation and conversion is said to have amounted to around 21 million euros. The villa is 2,720 square meters and is spread over three floors.

The magnificent house is located on the Portuguese Riviera in Quinta da Marinha, an exclusive residential area, close to the cities of Estoril and Sintra and around 40 minutes from the capital Lisbon.

The 200-times Portuguese forward currently plays for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia. In his first season with the desert club, the striker scored 14 goals and provided two assists in 19 competitive games, but failed to earn a title. In the league, Ronaldo and Al-Nassr finished second, five points behind Al-Ittihad, and in the King’s Cup they lost to Al-Wehda (0-1) in the semifinals.
