The electric “Peugeot 308” and “308 SW” will be powered by a brand new electric motor with an output of 115 kW (156 hp), and the range of both models will exceed 400 km (according to the WLTP test cycle). Both models have the best efficiency in their segment: the average energy consumption, according to the manufacturer’s promise, is only 12.7 kWh / 100 km.
The new “Peugeot e-308” and “e-308 SW” will be available in equipment levels “Allure” and “GT” and will go on sale in the autumn of 2023. They will be produced in France, in Mulhouse, and are not intended for only to the European market, but to the whole world.
The 156hp (260Nm) electric motor will complement the current Peugeot 308 powertrain range, which includes 180hp and 225hp plug-in hybrids, as well as internal combustion engines.

The battery is also a new generation. It is a 54 kWh high voltage battery (useful capacity – 51 kWh) with a new chemical composition: 80% nickel, 10% manganese and 10% cobalt. It operates at 400 volts and allows you to travel more than 400 km at full charge.
An integrated three-phase charger is included as standard. Its power is 11 kW and the socket is suitable for all charging modes. At the 100 kW public station, the car can be recharged from 20 to 80% in less than 25 minutes.
For the driver and passengers, the Peugeot e-308 and e-308 SW now offer the latest generation i-Cockpit interior, recognizable by a compact heated steering wheel, a 10-inch central touch screen and a three-dimensional digital projection display that can be customized and configured.
