The perpetrators of a robbery in Lugo and another attempted robbery in A Corua are residents of Madrid, where they committed similar crimes, according to reports from the Civil Guard and the National Police who collaborated in the operation that culminated in their arrest.
In total, there were three men, residents of Madrid, arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of serious disobedience to law enforcement officers, the first and alleged perpetrators of two crimes of robbery with intimidation and violence, one of them attempted and the other robbery with intimidation of vehicle.
The arrests were carried out by members of the Traffic detachment of the Civil Guard of A Corua and members of the Civil Guard post of Becerre (Lugo).
The events occurred when a road user informed a patrol of the Traffic Detachment of the Civil Guard of A Corua that was carrying out traffic control work on the AC-12 highway that the vehicle that was driving behind was doing so without lighting and he had been following her for 15 minutes, with the consequent fear on her part.
The acting troops proceeded to stop the aforementioned vehicle, ignoring its driver, fleeing the place at high speed. The civil guards began monitoring, arriving the vehicle that preceded them to circulate in the opposite direction on a road with a large influx of traffic, with serious risk to their physical integrity and that of other road users, even driving on the sidewalks.
Finally, they had to stop after the car was blocked in a narrow area, at which point the three occupants left the vehicle, being able to stop one of them.
FLIGHT
Subsequently, it was learned that the two fugitives had committed a robbery with intimidation of a vehicle in Oleiros, which was allegedly used for the displacement and escape to Madrid after an attempted robbery in a shopping center in A Corua. , in El Corte Ingls.
In addition, during the night, communication was received of an attempted robbery with intimidation in a restaurant establishment in Lugo, a Burger King, in which, presumably, the same vehicle had been used, fleeing the place at high speed at high speed. be followed by National Police Corps patrols.
The occupants of the car accessed the A-6 motorway towards Madrid, until suffering an accident at kilometer 473 in the municipality of Baralla, abandoning the vehicle and moving away from the place on foot.
ARREST IN A FIGHT
On the 18th of this month, a civil guard who was off duty received a notice from a neighbor of the presence of two unknown men in an establishment on the main street of Baralla. Considering that they could be the occupants of the damaged vehicle the day before, I reported the incident to the Service Operations Center (COS).
After receiving this information, the COS operators alerted the patrol of the Becerre Civil Guard post and the Seprona de Baralla patrol to move to that point. Once in person at the scene, both patrols proceeded to identify the two men, one of them presenting a DNI that did not correspond to his person and the other stating that he lacked any type of documentation.
Given that the physiognomy matched the description of the escaped persons, that they presented physical problems compatible with a traffic accident and that the explanation of their presence in that place was not coherent, they were transferred to the nearest barracks for their full identification, verifying, in addition, , that on both there were several judicial requisitions.
The Civil Guard proceeded to arrest them as alleged perpetrators of a robbery with intimidation of a vehicle. The National Police accused them of an attempted robbery with intimidation in A Corua, a crime of robbery with intimidation in Lugo, as well as the alleged perpetrator of four robberies with violence and intimidation and another crime of theft of use of a vehicle motor vehicle perpetrated in various locations in the Community of Madrid.
