SLEMAN, KRJOGJA.com – The Sleman Resort Police released the chronology of the perpetrators of the burning of the PSS Office (Omah PSS) in Tegalweru Sariharjo Ngaglik Sleman, last Sunday (28/11/2021). The perpetrator is known to be a Sleman Fan who was disappointed because his club lost against Persita Tangerang and played badly.
The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sleman Police, AKP Rony Prasadana SIK, revealed that the perpetrator is known to be one of the Sleman Fans with the initials GD (36), a resident of Pundong Bantul, who previously attended a BCS supporter community event in the Jalan Kaliurang Ngaglik Sleman area. At that location, while playing PSS against Persita, the perpetrator drank alcohol and found that PSS played badly and eventually lost 0-1.
“This perpetrator came out, invited his two friends to go to Omah PSS. The perpetrator said to his friend, come on, Omah PSS wae, be angry,” said Kasat, Wednesday (01/12/2021).
The perpetrators who took along two of his colleagues then headed for Omah PSS. Before arriving, the perpetrator asked TL (26), the colleague who was riding him, to get off to buy gasoline at a location not far from Omah PSS.
“This TL buys one liter of gasoline which is then poured into a bottle of mineral water. Arriving at Omah PSS at 17.00 WIB, the perpetrator entered through the front gate and was reprimanded by security, asked what he wanted to do. Answered by this perpetrator, feel good, sir, until then enter the meeting room, “continued Kasat.
At that location, it was later discovered that GD poured gasoline in a mineral water bottle on the table, chairs, walls and floor of the room. As seen in the CCTV footage that was spread, GD then ignited the fire with a lighter and the gasoline quickly caught fire.
“GD and TL were still at the Omah PSS location and had time to express their disappointment there. 10 minutes later the two of them left the scene,” said AKP Rony.
The perpetrator was known to have surrendered himself to the Sleman Police, Tuesday (11/30/2021) night. He was brought by his own fan community.
Previously, many parties criticized the arson that took place in Omah PSS. Luckily the PSS office was empty and there was no significant damage from the fire. (Fxh)
