The performer of the role of Kratos was arrested for sexual correspondence with a teenager

LAPD arrested actor Joseph Gatt. He is accused of “sexually explicit contact with a minor out of state for the purpose of committing a sexual offense.” Police have already issued a statement calling on anyone who may have been harmed by the actor’s actions to contact them.

Joseph, in turn, denies everything. He has already been released from jail on $5,000 bail and posted the following tweet:

I certainly want to respond to the absolutely horrendous and completely untrue allegations that have recently been leveled against me. They are 100% wrong and reckless. I am fully cooperating with the police and the LAPD to get to the bottom of this matter.

I look forward to clearing my good name.

Joseph is known to gamers for his role as Kratos – the actor participated in the process of capturing the movements of a demigod in God of War (2018), God of War 2, God of War 3, Ghost of Sparta, Chains of Olympus and Ascension. He also voiced numerous NPCs in The Elder Scrolls Online and male Dunmer in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.

You could also see the actor in episodic roles in such films and TV shows as Game of Thrones, Dumbo, True Detective, Ray Donovan, Star Trek: Retribution and Thor.

It is not yet clear whether this situation will affect the development of the new God of War.
