In the age-old battle between dog lovers and cat lovers, this battle was won by the former. Over 52% of respondents chose to travel with a dog because it “behaves better than people.” And the option “the cat because it sleeps the whole way” was marked by just over 22% of the respondents.
The poll also listed other contenders for best companion: a parrot, a hamster and a fish. They also win votes, with many preferring them because “at least they’re silent all the way through.”
