People’s Power Rep. Tae Young-ho visited the site of the hunger strike by Lee Jae-myung, the representative of the Democratic Party, and urged the withdrawal of Democratic Party lawmaker Park Young-soon and the removal of his seat as a member of the parliament.
While Representative Lee continued to fast for the 8th day, Congressman Tae visited the tent in front of the National Assembly headquarters on the 7th and requested a meeting with Representative Lee.
When Democratic Party member Kim Won-i, who was present at the scene, stopped Rep. Tae by saying, “Don’t show, go quickly,” Rep. Tae confronted him, saying, “Don’t touch it.”
Representative Lee, who was watching this, had Congressman Tae come into the tent.
Rep. Tae protested to Lee, saying, “Democratic Party lawmakers said things like ‘garbage from North Korea’ to me.”
Then, he emphasized, “You can’t leave Rep. Park Young-soon who yelled at me,” and emphasized, “The representative must take responsibility and get him out of the party and deprive him of his legislature.”
Previously, on the 6th, during the National Assembly’s government question, Rep. Tae said, “In fact, the only political forces that use the discharge of contaminated water from Fukushima as a political advantage are the North Korean Workers’ Party, the Chinese Communist Party, and the Republic of Korea Democratic Party.”
In response, Democratic Party lawmaker Park is known to have made primary criticisms such as “Garbage came from North Korea.”
