The Pentagon confirmed the transfer of anti-radar missiles to Ukraine – Ukraine – tsn.ua

The Pentagon confirmed that as part of the transfer of military assistance, the United States supplied Ukraine with anti-radar missiles.

Their exact number and terms of supply were not announced.

On sending another batch of aid to Ukraine from the USA told Pentagon Vice Chairman Colin Kahl during a briefing.

According to him, to date, the United States has allocated about $9.8 billion in security assistance to Ukraine, including $9.1 billion since the start of Russia’s military aggression.

“We will continue to consult closely with Ukraine and build on additional systems and capabilities available to support its defense. At every stage of this conflict, we have been focused on providing the Ukrainians with what they need, depending on the changing conditions on the battlefield. Over fulfilling Ukraine’s priority requests for security assistance, delivering weapons from US stockpiles when available, and facilitating the delivery of weapons by allies and partners when their systems better meet Ukraine’s needs,” Kahl said.

He added that at least 50 countries have already provided security assistance to Ukraine after the Russian invasion.

Pentagon Deputy Chief Colin Kahl said during the briefing that the US sent “a certain number” of missiles, but did not say when exactly they were sent and their type.

Recall that President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the United States for providing Ukraine with additional help in the field of security in the amount of $1 billion.
