The Pekanbaru City Health Service noted that the number of dengue fever cases treated until early November was 459 cases. However, it is certain that more patients are still not receiving treatment.

“We are making sure that there are currently no patients who are still receiving medical treatment after being diagnosed positive for dengue fever,” explained the Acting Head of the Pekanbaru City Health Office, Ingot Ahmad Hutasuhut.

The public must be aware of the danger of dengue fever. They should not be late in getting medical treatment when dengue fever is indicated.

Ingot reminded residents to be aware of several early symptoms of dengue fever. Symptoms include high fever, red spots on the skin and joint or muscle pain.

Other symptoms include stomach pain, diarrhea and vomiting. If you experience these symptoms, you can provide first aid immediately.
