What is Peak Rain Meteor Quadrantid?

Quadrantid is a meteor shower whose radiant point comes from the constellation Quadrans Muralis (now part of the constellation Bootes).

The quadrantids are debris from asteroid 2003 EH1 and comet C/1490 Y1.

The maximum intensity of this meteor shower is 200 meteors/hour.

Thus, with the maximum height of the radian point in Indonesia varying between 16.3° (Rote Island) to 35.8° (Sabang), the intensity is reduced to 56 meteors/hour (Rote Island) to 117 meteors/hour (Sabang).

Quadrantids can be seen from the Northeast from 04.00 local time to 25 minutes before sunrise.
