Although there has not been an increase in cases, Samsul continues to ask the community to continue implementing a healthy lifestyle by continuing to carry out the 3M movement, namely draining, closing, and burying garbage.
“Well, continue to do 3 M. We also continue to implement fogging mosquitoes in the morning and evening if there are reports from the public. Right now we put it first fogging in areas where there have been case reports,” he continued.
Samsul also added, Kendari City is an endemic area for the spread of cases caused by this type of mosquito aedes aegypti.
“Endemic areas mean that in one year cases will definitely appear, if there has been a doubling of the existing cases, it’s called KLB. Currently, dengue is also prone to attack children, because the immune system of young children is different from that of adults. Therefore, continue to behave in a healthy way,” he concluded.
