Balance and excerpt, equal amnesty. Everything is ready for the promise of cutting the tax bills that will affect 2.5 million Italians. The decree is ready to officially enter into force and, as announced, it will concern folders equal to or less than 5 thousand euros. Off to the cut starting from 31 October, with a scissor stroke on all debts falling within the amnesty category between 2000 and 2010 and referring to debtors with incomes of up to 30 thousand euros. In any case, the procedure will start before the end of October: in fact, the analysis phase will begin from 20 August.

Starting from that date, in fact, the collection agent will transmit to the Revenue Agency all the tax codes of the persons affected by the amnesty. Which, as mentioned, they must not be owners of debt situations exceeding 5 thousand euros. No enlargement of the range up to 10 thousand, as had been hypothesized on several occasions. The exclusion, however, of debts jointly held or relating to different persons remains.
