The Last of Us Part 1 has generated controversy in recent months for several reasons, first of all the fact that it is a $70 game, despite what many consider it to be a very conservative remake (a game that doesn’t need ). However, on PC, it appears the game will avoid that fate.
Sony and Naughty Dog recently announced at The Game Awards that the action-adventure remake would be coming to PC in March, a few months later, and the game has since been revealed to be $20 cheaper than its PS5 version. The Last of Us Part 1 is priced at $49.99 on Steam and the Epic Games Store. In Russia, the game is not available for purchase, but according to the Epic Gams Store, Sony wants 3,500 rubles for it, which is also much lower than the asking price for the console version.
To be honest, if the game came out for the same price on PS5, people would have far fewer issues with it. But such a difference in price, given that not much time has passed between releases, can cause another wave of criticism and controversy.
The Last of Us Part 1 is coming to PC on March 3, 2023. This has become known today during The Game Awards.
