The patient should not die and we would go to his side

The head of the Nursing Syndicate, Dr. Kawthar Mahmoud, commented on the image circulating on the social networking sites of the Al-Hussainiya Hospital nurse after the death of 4 cases of Corona in intensive care, saying: “The reactions to the image were positive and they were sympathetic to it .. and it worked like that because we are human.”

During her statements to the “Good Morning Egypt” program, the Nursing Syndicate clarified that they are subjected to a great effort where the heart and soul of the patient stops. Because they are performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, pointing out that the nurse is overcome by the human side, in addition to the great effort that she was subjected to.

And she continued: “Our nerves get tired when we see a state of death, but we learned to withstand because this is the nature of our work … the patient does not die or get tired, and we sit down and sit beside him .. But it was a human moment.”

Regarding the “Always For You” initiative, Mahmoud said: “We were distracted from communicating the positive mental image of the Egyptian citizen about nursing homes, and we proposed with the President of the Health Care Authority to launch an initiative and campaign for the training staff,” explaining that the campaign started at the beginning of this month and continues until its end.
