Exactly 25 years ago, on July 4, 1997, the Pathfinder and the Sojourner landed on Mars. Data was sent from the red planet to NASA headquarters. And that’s actually quite clever, because 25 years ago, WiFi didn’t even exist here on Earth.
Joris Melkert is a lecturer at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering at TU Delft, he explains to presenter Benji Heerschop the importance of the mission and what it has brought us.
