Windows 11 is a major version of the Windows NT operating system developed by Microsoft and announced on June 24, 2021, to succeed Windows 10, which was released 6 years ago.

Advantages of Windows 11
The Windows 11 operating system allows users to customize the colors and customize the Start Menu by moving and removing some items, and adding new tools to the menu.
It also allows customizing the screen resolution, and many other customization options that users can set up in their preferred way.
Customize the start menu in windows 11
By default, the Start Menu in Windows 11 displays three rows of application icons at the top, the files you opened last at the bottom, and the power button icon to the right of your account picture and name.

8 ways to customize Windows 11
You can customize the start menu by moving and removing some items, and adding new tools to the menu, by doing the following:
1 – To change the location of an app icon in the start menu, click and drag the icon to the location you want.
2 – To remove the app icon from the start menu, right-click or long-press the app icon and select (Unpin from Start). Doing so will remove the app icon from the list. This will not uninstall the app.
3 – To add an application icon to the start menu, click the All apps button in the upper right corner, click the application icon, and select the Pin to Start option.
Hide files and remove apps
4 – To hide recently used files from the start menu, you can follow these steps:
Go to (settings) Settings.
Click on the Personalization option, then choose Start.
Disable the option (Show recently opened items in Start, Jump Lists, and File Explorer) by pressing the toggle button next to it.
5 – To remove new and used apps from the Recommended section of the Start menu, press the toggle buttons next to the Show recently added apps and Show most used apps option.
6 – To change the color of the start menu in Windows 11, you can follow these steps:
Go to (settings) Settings.
Click on the Personalization option.
Click the Colors option, and select a color from the available options under the Accent colors tab.

customize some other options
As with the Start menu, many other aspects of Windows 11 can also be customized, including the following:
7 – To switch to Dark or Light mode, open Settings, then click Personalization, then choose Colors.
From the (Choose your mode) menu, choose either the (dark) or (light) mode. You can also tap Custom to use one mode for the operating system and another for apps.
8 – To add transparency effects to application windows, menus, and other parts of the operating system, you can follow these steps:
Open Settings.
Click Personalization, then choose Colors. And turn on the button that appears next to the option (transparency effects) Transparency effects.
