This Saturday afternoon, the Liège police wanted to check a car in very bad condition. The driver, a 37-year-old Liégeois well known to the police, refused to comply and fled.
A chase started from Droixhe to Boulevard de l’Automobile in Liège, where the vehicle was finally forced to stop, surrounded by numerous police vehicles. The driver was notably in default of insurance.
Her passenger, a 40-year-old woman, her partner, had hidden a gun in her panties! This couple has been arrested and will be brought this Sunday morning before the Liège prosecutor’s office. He will have to respond in particular to nasty obstruction to traffic.
