(PLO)- The passenger car rushed to the left side of the road, hitting hard, causing the truck to flip over, deform, and the truck driver died.
On the afternoon of January 8, on Ho Chi Minh Road passing through Ko Hné village, Cuor Dang commune, Cu Mgar district, Dak Lak province, a traffic accident occurred between a passenger car and truck causing a driver to die in the cab.
According to initial information, at the above time, passenger bus 11B-004.20 (driver’s identity unknown) carrying more than 20 passengers was traveling on Ho Chi Minh road in the direction of Gia Lai – Dak Lak.
When the passenger car arrived at the above location, it suddenly drove to the left side of the road, hitting truck 47C-287.87 (driver’s identity unknown).
The strong impact caused the truck to flip over, completely deformed, and the truck driver died in the cab.
The passenger car continued to move towards the left side of the road, collapsing part of the roof of a house before stopping.
As noted by PLO, the accident caused traffic congestion in the area. At the scene, the truck was crushed. The passenger car’s front part was crushed, part of the people’s house was damaged by the passenger car.
More than 20 passengers, driver and bus assistant were not injured. Currently, the bus company has sent another passenger car and driver to change the bus, helping passengers continue their journey.
Authorities were present at the scene to regulate traffic and examine the scene.
The police took the bus driver to be tested for alcohol and drug levels to help investigate and clarify the cause of the accident.
