The entire structure of members and sympathizers of the PP “There is such a people” – Maritsa municipality leave the party and cease our activities related to it. This was stated by the ITN coordinator in Maritsa municipality, Petar Kakalchev, in a statement to the party leadership.
“The leadership of the party clearly showed us that it does not care about its coordinators, members and sympathizers. To our great regret, we did not receive the necessary support to work for the good of Maritsa municipality, despite our desire to be actively involved in the changes in our state of local level and our desire to communicate with the management and work together with the responsible personnel of “There is such a people”, says the letter sent to the media and the management of ITN. It was signed by ITN-Municipality “Maritsa”.
Petar Kakalchev stated to “Maritsa” that before the holidays he was expelled from the party without receiving an explanation as to why this was happening. For Kakalchev, the reason is not clear, he explained that the structure of the party in Maritsa municipality is one of the most numerous in the country and with the best results in the elections, and he has been there since its creation. According to him, the party does not need workers people, but the people of Pozlukov, Petar Kakalchev told “Maritsa”. He explained that after speaking with members of the structure and discussing his removal, more than 20 people from the local structure of the party stood behind him. They stated that they stand behind their former coordinator Petar Kakalchev and are leaving the party.

With this declaration, we inform the leadership of PP There is such a people and all citizens of Maritsa municipality that the entire structure of members and sympathizers of PP There is such a people – municipality of Maritsa are leaving the party and suspending our activities related to it. The leadership of the party has clearly shown us that it does not care about its coordinators, members and sympathizers.
To our great regret, we did not receive the necessary support to work for the good of the Maritsa municipality, despite our desire to be actively involved in the changes in our country at the local level and our desire to communicate with the leadership and work together with the responsible personnel of Ima taliv narod this did not happen, leading to our disappointment and desire to withdraw.
In additional text to the letter, Petar Kakalchev also states:
We are all human and we all make mistakes… However, the important thing when we make mistakes is whether we have the courage to admit our mistake and not repeat it. We realize that we were giving heart and soul to an idea and a cause that for others was just a business. Despite everything, our heads remain held high, because whatever we did, we always did it guided by the desire to build a new and better Bulgaria.
Alas – our hopes were dashed, but our desire for change, our dedication to the idea are all things that no one could take away from us. We remain here and we will fight for a better future for our Motherland, because it is only one for us and unlike others who have been hypocritical and lied to thousands for a long time, we care for it.
We stayed in the party until the end, we harbored vain hopes, we burned inside when our own people and others criticized us. The destructive behavior of the party and its actions eventually opened our eyes too or as they say “Better late than never”.
We wanted to change the system, to normalize the situation in the country, and that is exactly why we took this last and decisive step, we could not go against ourselves and surrender our ideals because of the sick ambitions and behind-the-scenes games of a handful of people!
