In his speech, after recalling the actions carried out by the Baguinè Sô movement, Hamidou Djimdé explained the reasons for the truce that his movement observes. “Subsequently, we are observing the rise in power of our national army and the manifest will of our military authorities to fight the enemy to its last entrenchment. “, declared Hamidou Djimdé who added that: “These saving actions of our transitional authorities are to be welcomed and encouraged because fear has changed sides”.
Baguinè so denounces the exit of a youth leader Tabital Pulaaku
Right in his boots, the former deputy elected in Koro castigated “the untruths” of a youth leader Tabital Pulaaku on insecurity in Dogon country. According to Hamidou Djimdé, in the video made on the occasion of the three years of the attack on Ogossagou in the circle of Bankass, the youth member of Tabital Pulaaku said “Counter-truths that no individual enjoying his faculties can say publicly”.
According to the president of the Mouvement Baguinè so, contrary to what the young man from Tabital Pulaaku said, the name of Dana Ambassagou is not mentioned in the conclusions of the MINUSMA special investigation mission on the serious attacks human rights committed in Ogossagou.
Also, Hamidou Djimdé denied the statements according to which the Dogons withdrew Fulani land in Ogossagou. He also rejects the presentation of a trophy by the current governor of the Bandiagara region to Dana Ambassagou’s chief of staff, Youssouf Toloba. “He speaks of a trophy presentation to the chief of staff of Dana Ambassagou by the current governor of Bandiagara. Another grotesque lie, no trophy was handed over by the governor”, suggested Hamidou Djimdé. The opportunity for him to explain the context of the governor’s visit to local actors for a way out of the crisis in Dogon country
Finally, the Baguinè SÔ movement reiterated its unfailing support for the authorities of the transition. But, suggests Hamidou Djimdé, “ to fully win this fight against terrorism, in addition to the fight on the ground, it is also necessary to identify and neutralize the white-collar accomplices holed up in Bamako”.
After inviting Tabital Pulaaku to call his youth to “reason”, Hamidou Djimdé’s movement reiterated its commitment to the pacification of the Dogon country in order to allow communities to live in harmony.
It should be remembered that since the beginning of the rise in power of the Malian army, the security situation has greatly improved in Dogon country. Even if certain areas are still under the control of terro-jihadists, the Malian army continues to terrorize the enemy.
