Podkarpacie. The parrot watched the policemen’s work
On Friday (11 June) in the morning, an unusual intervention was undertaken by road traffic officers: young asp. Dariusz Jucha and Senior Sgt. Dariusz Romaniak from Jarosławska the police (Podkarpackie Voivodeship).
According to the police, while on duty in the town of Łapajówka in the Podkarpackie province (Zarzecze commune), the policemen who controlled the traffic were … the blue one little parrot wavy. The bird sat down on one of the motorcycles and “controlled” the work of the officers. The exotic creature was tame and was not afraid of the policemen. People interested in their work flew from one motorcycle to another.
The policemen “arrested” the parrot and handed it over to the veterinarians
To ensure the safety of the budgerigar, young asp. Dariusz Jucha and Senior Sgt. Dariusz Romaniak from the Subcarpathian police decided to secure the creation. The parrot was caught and taken to an animal clinic in the village of Szówsko (province Podkarpackie Province, Wiązownica commune). Officers handed over the bird to veterinarians, where, in safe conditions, a curious, lost parakeet waits for its owner to pick it up.
The policemen remind that in the event of irresponsible care for the animals, the owners may be fined. In special cases, even criminal charges for the abuse of an animal.
