The Federal National Council held the nineteenth meeting of the Parliamentary Coordination Committee and Foreign Relations of the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which was held today, Sunday, at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, led by His Excellency Dr. Maryam Obaid Al-Badwawi, member of the Federal National Council and chairman of the meeting, and with the participation of representatives from the legislative councils of the Gulf, His Excellency Counselor Sultan bin Nasser Al Suwaidi, Deputy Secretary-General for Legislative and Legal Affairs at Secretary General Gulf Cooperation Council States.
Members of the Federal National Council, in the Parliamentary Coordinating Committee and External Relations, also participated in the meeting, Her Excellency Sheikha Saeed Al Kaabi, and Prof. Omar Abdul Rahman Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the Council, in the presence of Her Excellency Mona Khalifa Hammad, Chairman of the Federal National Council Group in a regular meeting of heads of Shura, Representatives and National Councils And the country in the countries of the Cooperation Council ‘Gulf.

The Committee approved the draft agenda of the eighteenth regular meeting of heads of Shura, Representatives, National Councils and Nations of the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which will be held the day after tomorrow, Tuesday, and approved the recommendations of the conference “Cultural Diversity and Challenges of Change: The Role of the Gulf Legislative Councils in Preserving the Identity of Gulf.”
He also approved, under common themes of the Gulf, three themes submitted to the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council saying from the legislative councils of the Gulf, on “the legislative role of the legislative councils of the Gulf in Artificial Intelligence Management: Reality, Challenges, and Future Prospects,” on “Strengthening the Gulf’s Identity,” and on “The Labor Market Economy of Gulf.”
The committee agreed to the proposals submitted from the last meeting of the European Gulf Parliamentary Committee, namely: raising the topics of the meeting with the Members of the European Parliament to Their Excellencies the leaders legislative councils of the Gulf, and designates the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf – and in coordination with the Presidency Council – to continue coordination and communication with the side The European Council proposed a date for the meeting, and invited the ambassador of the Gulf Cooperation Council mission to the European Union to the next meeting of the Gulf Parliamentary Committee -European.
