After a total break in the Justice Since March 14, the CGPJ and the Ministry of Justice have lifted the limitations on submission of written documents by telematic means since next Wednesday, April 15, a measure that has been received with unequal acceptance among those affected by this measure. While some Justice unions have expressed their rejection for the incorporation of part of the civil servants, lawyers of administration of Justice and Judges, from Official Bar Association of Palencia they defend it since they consider that the only way to avoid the chaos and the collapse of Justice is to start working very little by little.
The measure includes that they can only submitting new request briefs, but not those that refer to sentences prior to the entry into force of the alarm state. Subsequent processing will be suspended at the moment that it gives rise to a procedural action that opens a period, except in the case of actions declared essential. Santiago González Recio, dean of the Palentino lawyers understands that it has to start working since otherwise the situation will become unsustainable. He also wants to draw attention to the situation of the defendants since, behind each procedure there is affected people who are the real stakeholders. It also affects the critical situation that many lawyers live in since since the break occurred, they have had no income and no aid is provided for this group, instead they have continued working and serving detainees as well as complying with the guards without having means of protection for it. Faced with criticism from the unions, González Recio made a appeal to shoulder to sacra Justice from the situation of chaos in which it is plunged and only ask to work.
