The artist Emilio Fernández-Galiano, from Madrid by birth and seguntino by adoption, has called for a Patronage Law that supports artists. In an interview with Europa Press, he recalled how since the Democratic Transition a Patronage Law has been demanded that would allow companies to invest in art benefiting from some fiscal aspects. This artist does not understand that a businessman can be deducted as an expense if he buys a triplet for his office and cannot do so if he acquires a painting.
