Former Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Painter during the discussion of the issue regarding the demobilization of the armed forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces brought deputy Inna Sovsun from the “Voice” party to tears simply during the broadcast of the “New Count” program on “Suspilny”.

Hanna Malyar, during the on-air discussion of why the clause on the demobilization of the armed forces of the Armed Forces was removed from the adopted law on mobilization, noted that the Russians issue contracts for the service of approximately 30,000 people every month. In addition, they are conducting a covert mobilization and will recruit another 300,000 to the army. She added that according to approximate calculations, by the fall the enemy will form a very powerful force – several times greater than our capabilities. According to her, the military is currently being rotated in such a way as not to harm our combat capability.
“There is a risk of opening another front. And in such a situation, it would be very surprising if a rule on demobilization was adopted. Does it need to be refined – of course it is. We have a key discussion going on around the fact that people (military – ed.) need to rest. It really is – people are exhausted. For two years, there was really no rotation of people who are in units on the front line. Now this issue has been systematically resolved and this rotation is taking place. It is not possible to announce the number, volumes, or subdivisions. But it is finally happening for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. In this way, so as not to harm our combat capability,” Malyar commented.
In her turn, Inna Sovsun, in response to the words of Hanna Malyar declared with tears in her eyes that her husband went to defend the country at the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Russia. In two years, he barely saw his children. And therefore, the rotation will not save the military, who are still at the front as of February 24, 2022, the People’s Deputy emphasized.
“My husband went to protect the country, you, all those who are watching us now. I have been waiting for him for two years. I regularly stay awake at night, just like hundreds of thousands of other women who are waiting for their husbands. There are millions of other men who are also can fight. We are not fighting those who left on February 24, our whole country is fighting. Now what you are saying is that you are shifting the responsibility to those who made the most important, most difficult moment in history. And now you are pretending that this there is no problem. That these people are iron and can continue to fight. He (the man – ed.) barely saw his children in two years. And rotation will not save this. Rotation will not save anyone,” – Malyar Sovsun reacted to the words.
The network reacted to Inna Sovsun’s emotional reaction and supported her. Some called Anna Malyar’s behavior “disgusting and immoral”.
“My deep respect for you and your husband. Malyar’s behavior is disgusting and immoral. Such “expert speakers” have no place in the information space of Ukraine”, – wrote People’s Deputy Victoria Voytsytska.
Serhiy Gnezdilov is currently a military man, and a journalist in civilian life remarkedthat the army absolutely does not perceive what Hanna Malyar says.
“Setting the terms and terms of service is the most important issue. It is not my fault that I know how to fly a drone, but Vasya cannot. Vasya must also be able to do this and be ready to replace me, because a soldier who is demoralized and burned out after three years of war is a fighter so on. It should be understood by both the political and military leadership that people are not slaves, and even in prison there are clear terms, which is not established in the army,” he commented.
Writer and military man Artem Cheh emphasized, that most of those who went to war in the first days, went for justice. Volunteers went to liberate and save territories, people, state and statehood. They went to rescue.
“And now to hear that the boys, you knew that it was indefinite, is disgusting. Because if the boys were the last, if there was no one to replace them, if the inevitability of death, the loss of everything, the sentence, full stop, the last breath. But there is someone. There is something. And the commanders are far from all, and to be more precise – very few – in*obky. And death or serious injury is not one hundred percent either. And the army as an institution is far from being as monstrous and scary as it is portrayed… We mobilization is needed not only in order to replenish sanitary losses. We need to change people. But: these unpopular decisions are sloppy to us, and accordingly – so many soldiers, we have scratched the surface. But who? Those who came in the first days. This million will go down in history… Our boys and girls have the right to rest. They have the right to complete rest. They say: if we demobilize you, we will lose everything. You will lose everything. And they are already losing everything. Families, life, love, joy. Have respect for those who saved your asses from death or from exile. Desperation sometimes sets in. And as Ms. Inna Sovsun can’t hold back tears, I can’t hold back anger. And surprise. And I thought that I was no longer capable of being surprised,” the military man wrote in an emotional post.
