But Louane’s life has not been all success and bling-bling. Indeed, she also went through traumatic situations during her childhood. The singer Louane also revealed, in a video on Youtube, her hidden suffering. She had written a letter to “her younger self”, harassed by his classmates. It was last December, on the Origines Média channel. Her touching words expressed a discomfort she had never shared before.

With emotion, the singer reads the letter:

“Hello you, I don’t really know who I’m talking to. You are 8 years old, 12 years old, 16 years old and then 19. I think that as far back as I can remember, you never really felt good about yourself, you never really felt accepted and even when people looked at you with shining eyes, you never managed to feel value in them”

The artist recounted the violence she had suffered, verbal and physical. She didn’t “fit the mold”, hyperactive always. In college, the grossophobic insults hurt her. “Ball of fat,” that’s what we called him.

So much so that she thought about suicide, that’s what she wrote in her letter. The singer no longer ate, she harmed herself, she didn’t want to live anymore. It was the result of the violence she had endured.

Thus, Louane spoke about her tormented youth, this August 10, in the show C à Vous on France 5.
