the owner tries to dislodge a squatter and he ends up in police custody

New mishap for an owner who has seen his property squatted. A mason had the bad surprise to discover, last week, that his house in Bondy (Seine-Saint-Denis) was occupied without his consent, reports Le Parisien.

Warned by the neighbors, the man went there and realized that the key was resisting in the lock.

He lodged a complaint for trespassing, but when the police came to the apartment, the young woman who was there with a child showed them a lease.

Hooded men to empty the house

In order to speed up the procedure, the mason and his son therefore decided to use the “strong method” to dislodge the occupant. They called in hooded men, who forced the young woman to get into her car and leave, before she returned and passed the owner.

The young woman filed a complaint for aggravated violence and theft, presenting herself with an arm in a sling and a hematoma on her face.

She claimed to have paid rent of 1,000 euros in cash

The mason and his son were placed in custody for 48 hours, from which they were released on Sunday. The occupier claims that they beat her, which both deny.

Heard by investigators, the squatter presented a false lease and claimed that she had paid rent of 1,000 euros and a deposit in cash. She finally left the scene.
