Prerak Patel bought an electric car on January 24, and on January 30, the steering wheel of the car literally came off right on the highway. He fell off the mount and kept only on the wires.
There were no other cars on the road at that time, so the driver was able to park safely. As a result, he had to call a tow truck to the service, where the work was estimated at $103.96. After lengthy negotiations, he managed to agree on a free repair.
Patel eventually wrote to Tesla technical support, demanded a refund and return the electric car. However, he was informed that they did not have that option.
