The proceedings began on November 12, when the Civil Guard was alerted to a robbery with violence and intimidation in a bar in Villafranca de los Barros.
Upon arrival, the owner of the establishment told the agents that three hooded men entered the establishment when there were no customers inside, and after threatening and attacking him with a knife, they took more than 1,000 euros that were in a bag and inside of an arcade machine that they forced to seize their collection.
With the demonstrations and investigations carried out by the Judicial Police Team of the Civil Guard of Zafra, it allowed the agents to determine the existence of a simulation of the robbery with violence and intimidation suffered by the owner of the bar, as well as the self-harm that had been carried out , with a cut on his hand, to “try to appear and make the action of the aggression more plausible.”
Faced with the aforementioned events, the owner of this bar was arrested accused of simulation crimes and for stealing the collection of the recreational machine that he forced to seize the money that was inside, according to the Civil Guard in Press release.
The proceedings ordered have been made available to the Investigating Courts of Villafranca de los Barros.
