The owner demolished Dvoračka’s Krkonoše hut, he will build a copy of it

The owner demolished Dvoračka’s Krkonoše hut at the foot of Lysá hora. Originally, he planned minor construction modifications, but during them he discovered that the statics of the entire building were disturbed by wood rot. The new shed, which should be an almost identical copy of the original one from the outside, should be on the site in two years. This was reported by Nova TV this evening.

The owner of Dvoraček, Milan Starý, told the television that the new shed will be built on the original floor plan, the foundations and one retaining wall will remain. He has been running the shed for 30 years. The load-bearing material had to be replaced so that the revitalization of the cottage could be done at a solid level, he said. “They will be in the same spirit, the same design, the same color, the same windows, it will all be an imitation in some way,” he said of the new form of Dvoraček.

The building authority is monitoring it, Petr Matyáš, the mayor of Rokytnice nad Jizerou, in whose cadastre the shed is located, told Nova. “I assume that the object will be in the same spirit, because it could not be otherwise in this location and in this zone,” he pointed out. Nova stated that the previous shed had 40 beds, the new one will have fewer, but with greater accommodation comfort.

The original Court Houses were built in 1707 and served as a farm for cattle breeding. They burned down more than 120 years ago, the shed has had its current form for the last 100 years or so.
