The Orthodox Church will not consecrate outlaws with the invasive emblem

Vakhtang Kupshidze of the Church’s press department told Radio Govorit Moscow. He explained that such bakery products had no relation to the Christian tradition.

“We believe that the symbolism of the Easter donuts must remain unchanged, regardless of external circumstances. Traditional Easter cookies have no additional symbols. In my opinion, bakery products that have a different symbolism from Christian can not be considered an Easter treat. I don’t think the consecration of such holiday products is expected, “Kupšidze said.

“Products containing this symbolism have the right to exist as a form of support for the Russian army, but outside the sacred spaces of churches,” he added.
