The Ortega-Murillo dynasty is as criminal as that of the Somozas

The dynasties of thieves and criminals have nothing to do with socialism: it is impossible to compare the greatness and honesty of President Salvador Allende and his government with the dynasty of criminals like Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo, who have taken over Nicaragua, even taking imprisoned historical leaders of the Sandinista Front, including Dora Téllez and Sergio Ramírez, as well as renowned bishops and priests of the Catholic Church.

The Vice President, Rosario Murillo, is a “whore”, that is, a “whore” of power, cruel and ruthless, who even dominates her husband. For his part, Daniel Ortega, from a Sandinista leader, became a tyrant, who has even taken away his people’s right to breathe.

The President of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, and that of Chile, Gabriel Boric, have acted very well in condemning this couple of tyrants, calling them, by their real name, “dictators”, who intend to establish a dynasty of terror and crimes in Nicaragua, and that is turning this country into a kind of North Korea in Central America.

Through tricks and pacts with other degenerate and ambitious former Presidents (among them Arnoldo Alemán), Ortega has managed to stay in power for 27 years. In the last election, fearing a failure in his victory, he gave the order to take prisoner all the candidates who endangered the dynasty’s permanence in power.

The Sandinista National Liberation Front heroically defeated the National Guard (it defeated the cruel dictator Anastasio Somoza, and, in addition, fought the Contras, sent by Ronald Reagan), today it is completely corrupted: the army, led by General Julio César Avilés, has become a praetorian guard at the service of the “king and queen” Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo.

Ortega, who has become a tyrant, knows that, like the Somozas, that all tyranny comes to an end, he now tries to ensure his succession, first, in the hands of his wife, Rosario Murillo, who already holds much of the power, and then, in his children, currently owners of the state communication channels.

The couple of Nicaraguan dictators have confronted the church, knowing that it is the only institution that can continue to resist the attacks of the government, the armed forces and the police.

The Nicaraguan dictatorship began by appropriating the UCA (Central American University), and had previously expelled the Jesuit Order (a persecution that has as its precedent the expulsion that occurred in Spain and Portugal in the 18th century).

Ortega, not content with persecuting the Catholic Church, has ended up also expelling the Red Cross (an ancient institution founded in Nicaragua after a destructive earthquake, unprecedented in that country).

The archbishop of Managua, Leopoldo Báez, had resisted the attacks of the Ortega-Murillo “dynasty” until Pope Francis gave the order to the bishops to leave Nicaragua. The bishop of Matagalpa, Rolando Álvarez, who was going to be exiled along with 222 opponents, refused to get on the plane, but upon his return to Matagalpa he faced the dictatorship, a fact that earned him being sent to prison and, later, convicted. by a prevaricating judge to a sentence of 27 years in prison.

The Catholic Church, as an institution, has not had the courage to clearly condemn this regime of tyrants. For his part, the Pope has been soft on the arbitrariness of the Nicaraguan government. It is still worth asking “what will the Holy Father who lives in Rome say… who are chasing his doves…” (sung the Chilean poet Violeta Parra).

At least Presidents Petro and Boric have openly had the courage to condemn this abusive dictatorship, which has the luxury of stripping 222 Nicaraguan citizens of their nationality, exiling them to the United States. The only precedent was found in the tyrant Augusto Pinochet, who, not content with removing the nationality of Salvador Allende’s minister, Orlando Letelier, ordered him to be killed, an event that occurred in the United States.
