Hollywood Records released the soundtrack for the Mexican television miniseries The Machinecomposed by Tomas Barreiro.

The soundtrack of the new series The Machine (available worldwide on Disney+ et Hulu), is now available for streaming. The original series has been streaming since October 9 and the album is available today on digital platforms. Blending the familiar sounds and rhythm of Hispanic heritage music, Tomas Barreiro (The Kitchen, The Good Girls) has created a standalone soundtrack that brilliantly evokes the spirit of Mexico.

The composer Tomas Barreiro : “The sequences of The Machine required three basic musical materials…frantic drumming for Andy’s frenzy, a dark one for Esteban’s wit, and a sarcastic almost shrine to Andy’s mother and their superficiality. All this mixed with Latin flavors in the drums, percussion and guitars constitutes the soundtrack of The Machine ! »

The series tells the story of Esteban (Gael Garcia Bernal) Ayala who at the lowest point in his brilliant boxing career. His manager, Andy Lujan (Diego Luna), his bodyguard, Saul Perez and his ex-wife Irasema (Eiza González) are his childhood friends who will make sure that Esteban wins this fight no matter what. But when a mysterious Illuminati-like criminal organization, Otras Personas, comes to Saul to impose its will on Esteban’s fight, the stakes of this fight become a matter of life and death.
