Elements of the Royal Gendarmerie in Tangier this Saturday morning arrested a person in a tourist resort in the Hawara region, suspected of having defrauded famous artists and stylists.
According to available data, the person concerned and his wife were arrested in a hotel on the basis of complaints filed by stylists after breaking promises made to them.
The promised ceremony would have featured Egyptian singer Hamada Helal and Moroccan artist Hoda Saad, along with numerous other stars, as well as numerous stylists and models.
The organizer of the concert is in the process of hearing, under the supervision of the competent Prosecutor of Tangier, amid requests for the return of large sums of money to the participants as well as a part of the public who paid for tickets priced between 600 and 1500 dirhams .
