The orchestras ask for an encore because they can adapt their shows | Radio Pontevedra

They assure that municipalities and other administrations, have scheduled hundreds of musical events and they have not counted on them to adapt their shows and be able to continue working. Right now, of the more than 300 orchestras that performed in Galicia, only 12 are active, that they can go out to play.

This July program includes numerous activities spread over almost all the squares and neighborhoods of the capital.

There will be cinema at the Ambienta festival from July 2 to 7 in the plaza da Pedreira. An event that the City Council wants to consolidate to make Pontevedra a benchmark for diversity cinema. There will be culture with a Festa do Libros, humor with a week of monologues, magic, or music with Cabaré Cabaré and Voz de Muller.

This July festive program can be seen on the Council’s website, and in physical format starting tomorrow. It includes a calendar with a magnet so that everyone can design their own calendar of events for the whole month at home.

All will be free activities but with limited capacity to the anticovid protocols, and pending the August activities. In any case, the party councilor highlights that it is a very varied program spread throughout the city.

This summer program also includes the two traditional pilgrimages of San Benito and Santiaguiño do Burgo. With the current protocols, the council does not contemplate its celebration, except for religious acts organized by the church. But there are no festivals or food stalls, at least for now.
