Bee The Orange Summer Friday night was briefly about women’s football. An action by the Nigerian team surprised Jack van Gelder and Hélène Hendriks.
“You can sometimes get a ball against the bag, which is very annoying. A while ago I saw a photo of a women’s team, where the wall was made, the women held their hands in front of the bag,” laughs Van Gelder. Hendriks also has to laugh about it: “I don’t understand that either. I would keep them somewhere else.”
“You can take over everything, but this is a bit exaggerated,” says Van Gelder. Hendriks would hold her hands upwards anyway. “A hundred percent.”
