The opposition plans to plan a constitutional coup after the elections in Georgia

The opposition parties have prepared the conditions for a constitutional coup after the parliamentary elections in Georgia on October 26, said the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili.

“There are all indications of such a situation – pre-prepared technical governmentlocal observers who have real political goals for the elections, and the fake decisions prepared in advance about the elections. We are witnessing a predetermined scenario of a constitutional coup,” – said the Speaker of the Parliament on the air of Public Broadcaster Adjara.

According to him, the last two weeks will be “active” in this context.

At the same time, the Georgian Ministry of Justice summoned the representative of the president to the interregional commission, after discovering that the election rules had been violated by Salome Zurabishviliwho is trying to lead the opposition and is creating a shadow government.

The ministry wants clarification related to Zurabishvili’s statement that a “coordinating center” will work at the president’s residence in the Orbeliani Palace on election day. She also said that at the end of the elections, “there will be a victory celebration” in this center.

The Ministry of Justice said that the president’s administration noticed the first invitation at the commission’s meeting, and they sent the letter again.
