In a joint statement, opposition parties protest against the expulsion campaign launched against Jobbik President Jakab Péter.
Jakab sues Bors after adultery on the side of the pro-government tabloid footage and photographs accused him, after the politician and his chief of staff arrived at the same time and left a house.
The pro-government media then attacked Jakab in several articles for allegedly renting out his apartment, which was rented to him by the Office of Parliament. The politician made complaints about this as well.
In response, opposition parties sent a statement to the MTI individually and collectively on Tuesday afternoon.
“We in the united opposition have endured and endured so much against the vile, lying exercise of power by the Orbán regime, but there is a red line: we draw this when the politically backed propaganda press paid from public money crosses the boundaries of the private sector. Now that’s what happened. We are protesting against the attacks on Jobbik’s president, Jakab Péter, and at the same time we are calling for the (so-called) press products used as public pit bulls: stop making factual, obscene, expiring content! ” – writes together the Democratic Coalition, the MSZP, the Dialogue, the Momentum, the Everyone’s Hungary Movement, Jobbik and the LMP.
