Advertising in cinema has changed in leaps and bounds over the years, and for a long time, it was only necessary to have a poster and a trailer that met the expectations of the public.
For some time now, it seems that there needs to be some kind of controversy or a series of rumors that can hardly be clarified. These can range from differences in the members of the set to reactions of all kinds among the first attendees.
Now it’s the turn of the next tape Damien Leone, Terrifer 3which already had its premiere in the United Kingdom and has had an almost unique reaction in its audience according to the Lad Bible page. Cases like this in special functions have occurred throughout history, such as The Exorcist to mention an example.
According to the aforementioned page, in the first official premiere a total of 9 people left the show due to the initial scene and later, two others did the same. A fan vomited.
The director revealed that several studios approached him wanting to finance this third installment, but that he realized that they were not going to allow him that creative freedom that he has enjoyed since his first film:
“I had the opportunity to meet with studios, like legitimate Hollywood studios, that wanted to make Terrifier 3. But before I even had a script, I just had meetings and realized that they were going to be watching me and that they were worried about the levels of blood and this and that. I knew they weren’t going to let me do this movie based on the first five pages. That’s how crazy Terrifier 3 is.”
Leone ends by saying that the film will be totally crazy and that the introductory scene will be very controversial, so gore fans and casual viewers are warned:
“Mark my words. I guarantee the first five minutes of this movie are going to be very controversial. But that’s not even the big death scene. That’s why I thought I had to make this movie on my own, because it’s too crazy.” “If you thought Art the Clown’s reign of terror in Part 2 was extreme, you haven’t seen anything yet.”
Terrifier 3 It will hit theaters next October 11, but for the Latin American region it will have a premiere at the end of the same month. What do you think?
