The opening act comes out again at Arcade Fire | show

Another artist has retired from the tour of the Canadian rock band Arcade Fire. Shortly before the band’s North American tour began, American singer Beck decided not to perform as a support group anymore.

Beck has not yet provided an explanation for his decision. Haitian band Boukman Eksperyans has been called up as a replacement for him.

This is the second time an artist has left the Arcade Fire tour. Last month, Canadian singer Feist announced that she no longer wants to support her band during the European leg of the tour. She made that decision allegations of sexual misconduct to Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler, he said in a statement at the time.

Win Butler has been targeted since some young women told the music site Pitchfork about bad experiences with the singer. For example, she would send sexually colored messages and touch some of them unsolicited. Butler admitted having had extramarital affairs, but she claims they were consensual.
