The virtual stands of the current participants of the fair have been visited by more than 30 thousand people since the launch of the portal in August.

Compatriots abroad have shown interest in “egadatirgus.lv” in particular – ASV, UK, Germany, Ireland, Australia, Canada and elsewhere. Most often they are people aged 25-34 (27%) and 55-64 years (22%). By inviting modern craftsmen, the organizers of the e-fair hope to address young people under the age of 24.

“So far, 200 local craftsmen and home producers have applied for the e-fair, representing traditional products from all over Latvia, and we have been able to help many start trading in the e-environment,” points out.Luminor“, who is a project supporter, manager in Latvia Kerli Gabrilovica.

Unlike the first call, when participants of the traditional Fair were invited to join the e-fair, applications are now also expected from craftsmen who work with a variety of methods and materials, combining elements of craftsmanship, technological development and modern design in their creations.

Applications will be invited until November 30 this year.

Trading Portal “egadatirgus.lv“works as an e-catalog, where buyers from Latvia and other countries can see the offer of local craftsmen and home producers and contact the masters to buy the selected goods.
