Zelensky’s spokesman believes that the most likely candidate is the country’s transport minister.
US Transportation Secretary Peter Buttidzic is more likely to represent the United States at the Crimean Platform summit in Ukraine. This was announced on Tuesday, July 27, by the press secretary of the President of Ukraine Serhiy Nikiforov during a briefing.
“I cannot confirm this, but I think that it is so, that he will represent the United States at the summit of the Crimean platform,” Nikiforov said.
The speaker added that Ukraine, for its part, will be glad to any country, which will also be represented during the summit of the Crimean Platform.
“This topic has not been raised at all for five years, and we are moving it off the ground, so we will be glad to any participation of any country on the Crimean platform,” Zelensky’s spokesman said during a press conference.
Earlier it was reported that the head of EU diplomacy Josep Borrell will take part in the Crimean platform.
