The ONMT organizes a Light Tour in Paris, London and New York over 3 days

Au the day after the launch of the international campaign “Terre de Lumière” which is currently deployed in twenty countries, the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) is now organizing a tour called “Light Tour” in three strategic cities: Paris, London and New York, announces a press release from the ‘ONMT.

Adel El Fakir, CEO of the ONMT accompanied by a delegation of Moroccan tourism professionals, will travel to these capitals to meet travel prescribers, tour operators, airline managers and opinion leaders from each country.

In Team Morocco, will be present, Hamid Bentahar, President of the National Confederation of Tourism as well as several presidents of federations and CRT in particular Lahcen Zelmat, President of the National Federation of the Hotel Industry, Mohamed Semlali, President of the National Federation Travel Agencies as well as Aziz Lebbar, President of the Regional Council of Fez-Meknes…

“We are continuing our work to promote and market Morocco as a destination. In the aftermath of the international campaign, it was important for us to keep up the pressure on international influencers and also to fully involve Moroccan professionals in this operation to promote the destination which is first and foremost theirs” , explains Adel El Fakir.

It is in Paris, on May 17, that the ONMT teams and Moroccan tourism professionals will meet French decision-makers. The next day, May 18, the same team will hold a similar meeting with English decision-makers in London. Finally on May 19, it is in New York that the delegation will meet the American officials. An express tour of only 3 days.

The “Light Tour” thus comes in the continuity of the unprecedented deployment of the international campaign “Terre de Lumière” and thus confirms the aggressive commercial and promotional approach of the ONMT whose objective is that Morocco quickly recovers its position before the crisis. .
