JurnalPost.com, Tenjolaya (27/02/23) – The only health institution in Tenjolaya District, Bogor Regency is the Tenjolaya Health Center. The Tenjolaya Health Center is located at Jalan Abdul Fatah, RT.21/RW.05, Cingneng Village, Tenjolaya District, Bogor Regency, West Java. The Tenjolaya Health Center is one of the DTP (With Treatment Places) Health Centers in the Tenjolaya sub-district, Bogor Regency. So that it provides health facilities that are quite complete for the standard of puskesmas in general. The health service facilities are; hospitalization, delivery services, family planning (KB) services, outpatient services, dental health services, elderly patient services (elderly), immunization services, vaccine services, swab services, laboratories and other health services.
“There are a lot of services at this puskesmas, first there are inpatient services, delivery services, family planning (KB) services, outpatient services, dental services, elderly services (elderly), immunizations, vaccines, swabs, everything is there, laboratory, the completeness is because we are DTP Poned, so it is indeed complete for the puskesmas standard,” explained Dr. Syahrudin as the Head of the Tenjolaya Health Center when met on Monday (27/02/2023).
The vision and mission that the Tenjolaya Health Center wants to realize is to create a healthy and independent Tenjolaya District community. The meaning of being independent here is because people must be independent to pay attention to their own body’s health. So that it can easily prevent a disease because it cares about the health of its own body.
“The vision and mission is to make the people of Tenjolaya healthy and independent,” said Dr. Syahrudin, “meaning that without treatment too if he has thought of his own health, oh it turns out he can’t eat this, oh it turns out he can’t have this so he can be independent with his own health,” continued Dr. Syahrudin again.
Public health in the Tenjolaya District is classified towards good health. Due to the fact on the ground that usually the Tenjolaya Health Center serves around 80 (eighty) to 120 (one hundred and twenty) patients every day. This figure cannot be said to be low or high. However, according to the analysis of Dr. Syahrudin himself said that the people in Tenjolaya have a good level of health. Then, from 80 (eighty) to 120 (one hundred and twenty) patients who were treated at the Tenjolaya Health Center, most of them had ARI (Acute Respiratory Infection).
This was also explained directly by Dr. Syahrudin as the Head of the Tenjolaya Health Center. Then, the medicines available at the Tenjolaya Health Center itself are sufficient according to the needs of medicines at the health center level in general, but because the health service facilities at this health center are quite complete. So the medicines here are not complete yet and you still have to submit other medicines to the local Health Office. The supporting tools for examining patients at this puskesmas are also standard at the puskesmas level in general.
“It’s not said it’s complete, it’s not said it’s lacking, because it’s also a standard health center, so it’s not a hospital,” said the Tenjolaya Health Center admin.
And it turns out that the health agency located in Tenjolaya District, Bogor Regency only has this health center. There are no other health agencies yet. This was also acknowledged by the Head of the Tenjolaya Health Center also in the field. So if the people of Tenjolaya District need health services, they can only come to this Tenjolaya Health Center which has quite complete health service facilities.
The Tenjolaya Health Center has also treated several patients with complicated illnesses or you could say diseases that should be handled by specialist doctors, such as patients with burst blood vessels, heart attacks, coronary heart disease and other diseases that need to be treated by a hospital. Such diseases are often found at the Tenjolaya Health Center and require patients who suffer from these diseases to be referred to large hospitals that have specialist doctors and complete supporting facilities so that the disease can be completely cured.
“If the disease is the most complicated, we refer it to the hospital, yes, it’s usually because of coronary artery disease or coronary heart disease, which is the nature of the hospital, we need to refer it, because those are diseases that must be treated by specialist doctors,” said Dr. Syahrudin.
To pay for health services at the puskesmas, it turns out that you can use BPJS insurance (Social Security Organizing Agency) and other health insurances whose funding comes from the government, not from non-government or private companies. Because the Tenjolaya Health Center has not cooperated with private companies in funding health services. So that the puskesmas can only serve payments through government health insurance,
“It can be BPJS, it can be insurance from PNS and Askes. For other insurance, for example from banks, we haven’t worked together yet,” said Dr. Syahrudin.
The coordination of the Tenjolaya Health Center with the local Health Office in the implementation of the Tenjolaya sub-district community health service went well, there were no misunderstandings. Because the Tenjolaya Health Center itself always routinely coordinates what matters are happening related to public health services at this health center to the Health Office.
The Tenjolaya Health Center also has its own way of socializing the important role of health to its people as an effort to realize the vision and mission of this puskesmas, namely the formation of special officers to provide health-related information to the community, namely health promotion officers (Health Promotion), who are assigned to provide counseling to the public about health. The Health Promotion Team was also assigned not only to the Tenjolaya sub-district, but outside the Tenjolaya sub-district, they were also given health-related counseling and health services available at the Tenjolaya Health Center. So that people outside the Tenjolaya District can know and use the health facilities at the Tenjolaya Health Center properly.
“So here we have a health promotion, which means there are health promotion officers whose job is to provide counseling to the community, not only in Tenjolaya but outside the sub-district, they are given information about the services available here,” said Dr. Syahrudin.
