The online hero shooter Concord did not exceed 700 people on Steam

After a disappointing beta period, the launch of Firewalk Studios’ new hero Concord was even more disappointing after registering a shockingly low player count at launch.

According to SteamDB, Concord currently has a peak player count of 662 (with a peak of 697) – a low number, especially compared to Tactical Breach Wizards, a single-player turn-based indie game that launched on the same day and is already at a record high of 3,847 at the time of writing.

Along with its high $40 price tag, this puts even more pressure on the co-op shooter and its performance. Concord took 8 years to develop, so Sony spent a lot of money, and the game as a service needs a lot of online players to make it worthwhile.
