The smartwatch was spotted on the IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority) site in India a few months ago with the name OnePlus Watch and model number W301GB.
OnePlus, through a contest post on its forum, confirmed the launch of the OnePlus Watch with the OnePlus 9 series on March 23. The company’s first smartwatch was confirmed by the CEO of OnePlus in December of last year. It comes after the OnePlus Band launched in January.
The smartwatch was spotted on the IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority) site in India a few months ago with the name OnePlus Watch and model number W301GB. The design of the watch was recently confirmed by the DPMA in Germany which revealed sports and leather straps for the smartwatch.
According to the certification, the smartwatch will feature a round dial, two buttons on the right side, a heart rate sensor on the back as well as charging pins. It comes with a silicone strap and the strap design is similar to the OnePlus Band and other fitness watches. It will also be offered in another version with a leather strap with a clasp-type locking.
