The Ombudsman’s institution has received numerous complaints from citizens asking for assistance in making the subway accessible to people with reduced mobility. At the moment, they cannot get into the motorcars by themselves, because of the distance between the wagons and the platform, and this turns out to be an insurmountable obstacle.
After the provision of a mobile ramp and a specially appointed employee of “Metropolitan” EAD, this will become possible. The only condition is that people with disabilities make a request one hour before their trip on the specially announced phone number – 02/ 921 21 00.
