Ombudsman Maya Manolova organized a public dialogue of the draft legislation on private help, which can happen tomorrow, June 27, 2018, at 12:00 p.m. on the public defender’s establishment. This was introduced by Manolova in this system “This Morning” on bTV.
“Yesterday there was a request from the protesting moms and from many organizations that assist them, that I carry the non-public help undertaking to the Nationwide Meeting, in order that it’s obtainable to the deputies in the event that they need to acknowledge it, focus on it and settle for it,” argued requested the ombudsman.
Manolova emphasised that thus far no critical arguments in opposition to the draft legislation have been heard within the public area. She invited all events on the topic to listen to the constructive arguments, and the proposals made shall be summarized to the texts within the draft Legislation on Private Help.
“As an individual, I believe that the opposition of teams in society – of medical doctors in opposition to academics, of pensioners in opposition to kids, of disabled individuals in opposition to different disabled individuals, of diabetics in opposition to sufferers of neuromuscular issues – this opposition destroys solidarity, humanity in our society. I can’t take part on this,” Manolova was categorical.
She emphasizes that for her the issue of moms stands above every thing and can’t be used for anybody’s political, non-political or different private ambitions and objectives.
“There isn’t any regular particular person in Bulgaria who has not been moved by the issue of those ladies, these courageous ladies, as a result of the selection to take care of a baby with extreme disabilities, as an alternative of placing him in an establishment, is de facto tough. These ladies deserve all our assist as a society, all of the solidarity, all of the kindness. That is, above all, a human drawback,” the ombudsman added.
Later, Manolova despatched invites to take part within the public dialogue to the Minister of Labor and Social Coverage Biser Petkov, to the Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov, to the commerce union leaders Dimitar Manolov and Plamen Dimitrov, to the chairmen and members of the parliamentary committees on labor, social and demographic affairs coverage, on interplay with non-governmental organizations and residents’ complaints, on kids, youth and sports activities points, to the contributors within the working group that ready the undertaking, to the members of the Nationwide Council for the Integration of Individuals with Disabilities, and so forth.
