The Olympia Theater joins Caixa Popular to promote culture

Caixa Popular and the Olympia Theater have renewed for two years the collaboration agreement that they have been maintaining for three years. In this way, continuity is given to a joint project that aims to build synergies to grow together, contributing the maximum of each institution to the Valencian citizenry.

As highlighted at the signing of the agreement three years ago by the director of Institutional Relations and CSR of Caixa Popular Paco Alos, “this agreement is not just an economic issue, what we want is to generate synergies and take advantage of audiences to bring people closer to culture”.

For his part, the director of the Olympia Theater Enrique Fayos highlights that the union of private initiatives such as this “allows us to walk towards an Anglo-Saxon model, enhancing its strengths and bringing the public closer to artistic proposals that the theater alone could not program”.

This joint agreement has led the entities during these three years to promote projects and campaigns of a very different nature, from the creation of specific content for theater lovers to the promotion and ticket raffles, among others.

Projects such as Caixa Popular Dona should be highlighted, with interviews with women in the theater field that serve as inspiration and motivation for women entrepreneurs. An initiative that was inaugurated with the participation of Alaska and which was followed by leading women of the theater such as the actress Maria Castro and the Director of Communication of Metropolitan Olympia Mari Angeles Fayos.

The Caixa Popular a Escena sections have also been created, in which many of the professions that remain out of the limelight are made visible; or the program 12 + 1 questions by Caixa Popular of the Olympia Theater podcast, in which it is the spectators themselves who send their questions to the actors and actresses who pass by the theater stage. The collaboration of both entities has also resulted in the creation of exclusive content such as videos about the most interesting theater productions on the billboard or even guided tours of the theater for Caixa Popular groups.

Free events have been held inside the theater itself, such as the Caixa Popular Dona la Veu, with Gemma Nierga e Isaiah Lafuente and driven by Mariola Cubells to publicize the experience of these two referent characters.

In addition, since 2019 the image of the rooms and corridors of the Olympia Theater have been decorated with an exclusive design that reflects this collaboration, also giving Caixa Popular visibility in the physical space of the theater itself as the main sponsor.

The continuation of this collaboration in the next two years aims to continue creating synergies between both entities, thus consolidating these actions and opening the way to new projects of a social nature.
