The Hague – Passing through The Hague since 1981: HTM’s famous GTL8 trams. But that era seems to be drawing to a close, as HTM has ordered fifty new trams from Swiss manufacturer Stadler. They should replace the famous red-beige trams of 2026. The new trams are much more spacious, more comfortable and accessible to all, says HTM spokesperson Marijke Poppelier.
